Osteopath at Work

Chiropractic is a non invasive, drug free approach to diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions. Although chiropractic is often thought to address only the spine, it includes all joints in the body. The main purpose of chiropractic care is to get you moving correctly without pain.

Adjustments are the joint mobilizations chiropractors perform in order to restore motion and reduce pain in a specific joint. Adjustments are often performed by manual mobilization, however there are a variety of ways to provide an adjustment including drop table, activator, and blocking. In addition to adjustments, chiropractic care includes bodywork such as soft tissue mobilization, stretching, and corrective exercise instruction.
